Girl Code Africa is a Non-Governmental Organization that focuses on providing technological education to girls in Ghana and West Africa. Currently, only 26% of computing jobs are held by women with a steady decline over the years.
Development
Initial donations will be used to develop the container classrooms which will be placed in highly densely populated communities to give girls access to this opportunity.
Students
80% is spent on giving the girls the best education by providing the best teachers and devices for them to learn with in remote areas where there is no access to the internet.
Further Education
5% is to support the girls who opt to further their education in the tech sector which will decrease the gender gap in women studying technology. This support goes a long way.
